Who we are
Yarigai is a trading name of Sancar Media Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 16010239, registered office 3rd Floor, 86-90 Paul Street, London EC2A 4NE). Sancar Media Ltd is the data controller for the personal data described here. Contact us about privacy at [email protected].
What we collect
- When you send the work with us form, we collect your name, work email, company, company website, role, company size, budget range and what you tell us about your project, plus your country and a scrambled (hashed) version of your IP address to stop spam.
- When you book a scope call, Calendly collects your name, email address, the time you picked and any answers you give in the booking form, and sends them to us.
- When you email us, we keep the emails and the contact details in them.
- Our hosting provider records standard server logs, such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested, to keep the site secure and working.
This site sets no advertising or analytics cookies. The Calendly booking widget runs on Calendly's own domain and may set cookies needed for booking. See Calendly's privacy notice.
Why we use it
We use your details to hold the call you booked, reply to you, and prepare a proposal if you ask for one. Our lawful basis is taking steps at your request before entering a contract, and our legitimate interest in running and protecting the business. We don't sell your data or add you to a mailing list without asking.
Who we share it with
We use a small number of providers to run the business: Cloudflare to host this website and store form enquiries, Telegram to notify us of new enquiries, Calendly for bookings, Zoom for calls and our email provider. They process data on our behalf under their own data protection terms. Some of them store data outside the UK under safeguards approved for UK GDPR transfers.
Client project data
When we build systems for a client, we act as a processor for the client's data under a separate data processing agreement signed before work starts. This notice covers enquiries and bookings, not client project data.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry and booking details for up to 24 months after our last contact, unless you become a client, in which case we keep business records for as long as the law requires.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, object to how we use it or ask us to restrict it. Email [email protected] and we'll reply within one month. If you're unhappy with our answer, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
